Name that cheese!
Fifth Town has made its first batch of a cows’ milk washed-rind hard cheese - the only problem is that we don’t have a name! You are invited to invent a name, and the winner gets a whole wheel of the as yet anonymous cheese! Please email your entries to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Please submit entries before December 1st.
Some things to consider about naming our new washed-rind cow cheese:
- the milk comes from a farm called “Quinte Crest”
- washed rind cheese tends to be brilliant pink to orange
- Fifth Town could be described as being in Cressy, North Marysburgh and Prince Edward County
- Washed rind cheese was originally made in monasteries
But, we love inventiveness - just do your own thing! The winner will be announced on December 1st.
