FT Wins Top Award at Prince Edward County’s TASTE! event!
We are very pleased to have been selected as this years Best Regional Product at the 2008 TASTE! event which was held on Saturday, September 27th in Prince Edward County.
During the Taste! event, FT offered 4 cheese morsels on a locally made “edible” flatbread plate baked by Marianne Saunders. Cheeses morsels served included Cape Vessey, a marinated version of our Lemon Fetish sheep milk cheese, a mini Lost Lake, and a Goat Whey Ricotta/Chevre cheese ball rolled in walnuts and warmed in a toaster oven. Over 800 people were served in just under 6 hours.
The FT team would like to thank all those who came to our booth to try the cheese! We would also like to thank our producers. Without them this would not be possible.
