Last year, the Harvest’in Supper attracted over 1000 participants making it one of the largest dinner tables ever set!  This year the event is in Picton on Main!  We will also have cheese for sale! Visit the FT booth!

Building For The New Economy

New Exhibit at Harbourfront (To Sept 7th): Canada’s AGATHOM Co., Breathe Architects and Lapointe Architects were invited to create installations in response to building and design practices in the face of global economic realities. Fifth Town’s new (Re)Source Pavilion project is a part of the exhibition.

Ontario Cheese Society annual conference and cheese tasting

OCS will hold their annual conference at Hart House, University of Toronto on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. There will be seminars from experts in the fields of economics, packaging, history, microbiology, Québec artisan cheese and—a first for Ontario—a sprit and cheese pairing! In the evening, the popular “Artisan Cheese Market” will be open to members of the public as well as conference attendees. (more…)
