Since we began, Fifth Town’s mission has been to make great cheese while investing back into our community and planet. We’ve worked with some great organizations, but it’s always the local ones that prove most rewarding.
This past November we partnered with the Friends of East Lake to fundraise for the Shoreland Management Plan Trust and the Al Purdy A-Frame Trust. The evening was hosted by none other than Margaret Atwood who spoke to guests at the Regent Theatre on the theme of cultural heritage. Ms. Atwood stopped by our retail store before the event and had the chance to practise her German with one of our staff, Ute!
